Lucy Liemann

Lucy Liemann (born 1972) is a British actress. Liemann was born in Middlesex, UK. After graduation she was spotted at a supermarket by a voice scout who urged her to become a voice artist. Liemann then went on to study acting at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts. She has worked in theatre, television and film.

She started her acting career in stage productions, in the initial London production of Carl Djerassi's play Phallacy in 2005 and followed that with a series of short films. She went on to play a series of small roles in various standard British television shows, including The Bill and Agatha Christie's Poirot. Lucy then moved to films, her first being Are You Ready For Love? in 2005. She played the part of Laura in the film Senseless before landing a bigger part in the horror flick Mindflesh.

In 2007, Lucy played the part of Lucy (although not named in the film, however credited as such) in the third part of Matt Damon's trilogy, The Bourne Ultimatum. The character of Lucy is an American CIA Operative, working from the CIA Office in New York.

As well as an actress, Lucy is known for her voice artist work, providing the voice behind advertisements for Specsavers, Walls Magnum Mini and Bosch Washing Machines. A sample voice clip can be heard on the Audio Clips Page in the Gallery.

Lucy played recurring character Sam Phillips (Script Editor) in the two television series of Moving Wallpaper and co-starred alongside Martin Clunes as Reggie Perrin's nubile colleague Jasmine Strauss in Series One and Two of the BBC's 2009 remake of the classic series - Reggie Perrin. She also appeared in one episode of Hotel Babylon, part of the fourth series of the show, as a Sunday Times Journalist called Charlotte Newhouse.

Lucy filmed in parts of London for the Comedy film Huge, directed by her Moving Wallpaper colleague Ben Miller, released in July 2011.

In June and July of 2010, Lucy appeared in Series One of Rev. - a half hour sitcom playing the part of Head Teacher Ellie Pattman. Tom Hollander; played the part of the Rev. Adam Smallbone. She reprised the role of Ellie Pattman in Series Two of Rev. in November\December 2011.

In April 2011, Lucy guest starred on the ITV1 crime drama Lewis, playing the character of Bethan Vickery and in July 2011, Lucy played the part of Anna King in Series 8 of New Tricks.

Series Three of Rev. was announced in 2012 for possible transmission in 2014.

Lucy is to play Beatrix Ordish in an episode of Midsomer Murders in 2013. The episode is entitled Schooled in Murder.
