This is a plot sysnopsis for the Charlotte Newhouse thread, not the whole episode.

Note: Spoilers!

Lucy has seven seperate scenes in the episode:

• Scene One: Entrance to the Hotel
• Scene Two: Sam introduces himself
• Scene Three: Dinner in the restaurant
• Scene Four: Drink in the bar
• Scene Five: Poker with Sam
• Scene Six: Sam wakes up in Charlotte's bed
• Scene Seven: The baby shower

Scene One:

Charlotte Newhouse, a Sunday Times Journalist , has booked a suite at Hotel Babylon to give her friend Precious a baby shower. She makes her entrance to the hotel bearing pink teddy bears and balloons and gives Sam a smile as she walks past.

Scene Two:

Sam introduces himself to Charlotte as the manager that will be looking after her needs for her baby shower. Tony accompanies Sam and Charlotte asks if she could have a corner table reserved in the restaurant as she is slightly self-concious about dining alone. Smiles are exchanged between Sam and Charlotte and Sam heads off back to work.

Scene Three:

In the restaurant, Charlotte is sat at a corner table writing. Sam spots her and enquires whether she is writing good things about the Hotel and Charlotte reponds warmly. Sam asks Charlotte whether she would like to try the legendary Hotel cocktails a little later, as drinking cocktails on your own is "a bit sad!"

Scene Four:

A little later, Sam and Charlotte are in the bar drinking cocktails. They both establish that they are single with no attachments. Charlotte asks Sam if he would like to get a bottle of Tequila and come up to her room. Sam agrees and they head off, Sam with the bottle of Tequila.

Scene Five:

Sam and Charlotte are playing strip poker and drinking the Tequila. They are both in a state on undress when Charlotte shows a winning hand. Charlotte asks Sam to take his shirt off, which he does rather unsteadiliy after downing a Tequila shot. As Sam fumbles with his shirt, Charlotte goes to help him and they kiss.

Scene Six:

The next morning, Sam wakes up with a terrible hangover in Charlotte's bed in her room.  Charlotte brings him breakfast and tells him that he'd agreed to help her with the baby shower that day. Sam inspects his state of undress in bed and Charlotte tells him that they both had "a good night". Sam does not look happy about this and Charlotte "thanks" him. Sam leaves her suite and phones Tony to try and get him out of it.

Scene Seven:

At the baby shower, Precious and her friends are gathered around  drinking champagne from baby bottles. Precious is not impressed with this. Charlotte brings out Sam and Precious' husband dressed in baby-gro's and with bonnets and dummies. Precious is still not impressed (nor is Sam) and is embarassed when Tony walks in in order to rescue Sam as pre-arranged. Both Sam and Precious' husband get changed back into suits whilst the baby shower games continue. Precious eventually stops the games, claiming they are "shit" and an argument between Precious and Charlotte ensues. It transpires that Precious' husband had an affair with Charlotte just before the baby was conceived and Precious slaps both Charlotte and her husband. Precious storms outwith her husband in her wake and an angry Charlotte declares that Sam passed out before they could do anything last night. This pleases Sam and he goes out after Juliet. Charlotte receives a glass of champagne in the face for her trouble from one of the baby shower ladies.
